Happy New Year to all our TEZ customers and partners! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that your year is off to a great start!

To bring you the latest information and exciting news from TEZ, we will begin sending a quarterly newsletter. With this inaugural edition, I also want to share that we are launching a Customer Satisfaction Survey. This survey is designed to help us understand how we are performing as a business partner—what we are doing well and where we can improve. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few moments to complete this short survey. As a thank you, we will enter your name into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card. In October, we welcomed Maggie Vercoe as our Executive Vice President of Customer Engagement. This new role was created to ensure a dedicated focus on general customer satisfaction and relationships across the company. Maggie has been in the parking industry for 30 years and brings extensive experience in managing customers of all sizes and levels of complexity. She is passionate about fostering a smooth and rewarding partnership.

Some of her initiatives already underway in Q1 include:

  • Creating more structure and process around the Account Management role.
  • Establishing a consistent communication process with customers.
  • Providing customers with more ways to manage their business through operational reports.
  • Supporting the launch of new and improved products.

What TEZ product are you using today?

TEXT2PARK and PERMIT2PARK

How did your relationship with TEZ get started?

We chose TEZ because of the customer service that was immediately offered to us, and the simplicity of the technology. I first called TEZ in July 2024 and was introduced to Derek Gassaway. Derek was in communication with us every day and helped us grow from scratch. No other company offers that type of customer care, at least that I’ve interacted with. Derek flew from Oregon to Park City to meet with me and a potential client. From that dedicated action, he secured our business along with that client.

What's been the highlight of your relationship with TEZ thus far?

Everything with installation was quick on TEZ’s part. We customized a few things, and TEZ was very helpful and patient with us as we went outside of the box a little. Because of TEZ’s adaptation, and patience with us, they have secured our business and will continue to receive our business.

How is TEZ helping you with your operation moving forward?

Our 2025 goals will stretch us a bit, but we know it’s possible with the help from TEZ and other partners. We want to acquire 50,000 stalls by the end of the year, giving us a little over 100 properties to manage. We are determined and dedicated to making this goal a reality.

Divisha Eppalapalli 

Divisha Eppalapalli is TEZ’s Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. She lives and breathes the data that our customers manage to help highlight where we are all succeeding and where we can make improvements. She was integral in the launch of TEZLENZ which allows our customers to manage their systems through operational reports. We asked Divisha a few questions so you can get to know her a bit better.

What is your background? 
It is a little bit silly, but my undergrad degree is in molecular biology. I planned to become a doctor. I realized in my third year that that wasn’t my path. However, during my schooling, I wrote a lot of labs and realized how much I liked analytics. This was a natural progression for me. I am currently doing my master’s in business analytics.

Why did you pick TEZ? 
I was interviewed many times. That was a green flag for me. Every time I had an interview, it was a different person or group of people. It felt like they knew I was a fit on paper but wanted to make sure I fit with teams. They seemed to want to get to know me. I knew I wanted to start with a smaller company. And it all seemed to fit. While we aren’t a start up anymore, I can’t imagine myself not starting in the culture that TEZ had. It has enhanced my creativity. No one has done this job before. So it was an exciting opportunity.

What do you love about your job? 
I have the unique pleasure of working amongst so many departments. I am learning how all of the cogs in the machine work together and what everyone does. I get a lot of interpersonal interaction. In my previous jobs, I was able to speak to only a handful of people.

What do you do for fun? 
In the summer I play rec volleyball. Right now, I am busy with my master’s so there isn’t that much time for fun. I like to read. I love my cat. I like to hang out with my friends and family. My goal for 2025 is to complete a very large painting-by-numbers.

What is your Superpower? 
I think I have a unique ability to provide trust to people. I make them feel comfortable and are able to talk to me. I try to do a lot to make sure it is worth it. I can tell when someone is coming out of their shell and try and meet them in the middle. I try to be very authentic and genuine so people.
