TEZ Technology Platform SMS Messaging Terms

  1. Overview. TEZ Technology ("TEZ," "we," "our," or "us") provides software and related services to businesses and organizations that provide parking, valet, and related services (each, a "Customer").As part of these services, the TEZ Platform facilitates operational SMS and MMS communications on behalf of its Customers to individuals using parking, valet, and related services ("End Users").These SMS Messaging Terms ("SMS Terms") govern the operational messaging programs operated through the TEZ Platform. They supplement, but do not replace, any applicable Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
  2. Definitions.
    • Customer means a business or organization that licenses or uses the TEZ Platform.
    • End User means an individual who receives parking, valet, or related services from a Customer and receives operational text messages through the TEZ Platform.
    • Messaging Program means a TEZ-operated SMS or MMS communication service supporting a specific product or operational workflow.
  3. Purpose of SMS Messaging. The TEZ Platform facilitates operational SMS and MMS communications on behalf of its Customers. Messages are used solely to support services requested by End Users and may include:
    • Parking session notifications;
    • Vehicle retrieval notifications;
    • Digital claim ticket notifications;
    • Payment notifications;
    • Reservation notifications;
    • Service status updates;
    • Customer-to-valet communications; and
    • Other operational messages necessary to facilitate requested services.

    The Messaging Programs governed by these SMS Terms are not used for marketing or promotional communications.

  4. Consent. By providing a mobile telephone number while requesting or using a parking, valet, or related service operated through the TEZ Platform, an End User consents to receive operational SMS or MMS messages necessary to facilitate the requested service.Consent applies only to communications associated with the applicable service or transaction.SMS Valet consent: For the SMS Valet Messaging Program, an End User provides their mobile telephone number directly to a valet attendant while requesting valet services. The valet attendant enters the telephone number into the TEZ Platform, which generates operational SMS messages related to that valet transaction.
  5. Message Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on the services requested by the End User and the operational needs of the applicable Customer.Messages are limited to those reasonably necessary to facilitate the requested parking, valet, or related service.
  6. TEZ Messaging Programs. The TEZ Platform operates multiple operational Messaging Programs. Depending on the product, geographic region, messaging provider, carrier requirements, or service availability, messages may be delivered using registered SMS short codes, authorized 10-digit long code (10DLC) telephone numbers, toll-free telephone numbers, or other authorized sender identifiers operated by or on behalf of TEZ.An End User may receive messages from different authorized sender identifiers while using services powered by the TEZ Platform. Regardless of the sender identifier used, all operational messages are governed by these SMS Terms.
    Messaging Program Authorized Sender Purpose
    SMS Valet Short Code 73958 Vehicle retrieval, digital claim tickets, valet status updates, payment notifications, and customer-to-valet communications.
    Text2Park / TEZPark Short Code 25023 Parking-related operational messaging, including parking session notifications.
    TEZPARK Short Code 44989 Parking-related operational messaging, including parking session notifications.
    TEZ Canada Short Code 77500 Operational messaging supporting Canadian deployments.

    In addition to the sender identifiers listed above, TEZ may use authorized 10DLC telephone numbers, toll-free telephone numbers, or other approved messaging identifiers to facilitate operational communications. Additional sender identifiers may be added after they are documented and associated with the applicable Messaging Program.

  7. Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the End User's wireless carrier and mobile service plan. TEZ does not charge a separate fee for sending operational SMS or MMS messages.
  8. Opting Out. An End User may opt out of future SMS messages by replying STOP to any operational message.After opting out, the End User will no longer receive operational text messages associated with that Messaging Program unless consent is subsequently provided again. Opting out may prevent the delivery of important notifications related to an active parking, valet, or related transaction.

  10. Carrier Disclaimer. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS or MMS messages depends upon carrier availability, network conditions, and other factors outside TEZ's control.
  11. Privacy. Information processed in connection with the TEZ Platform Messaging Programs is handled in accordance with the TEZ Privacy Policy.TEZ uses SMS and MMS information solely to facilitate operational communications on behalf of its Customers. TEZ does not sell SMS consent information or share SMS opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  12. Changes to These SMS Terms. TEZ may update these SMS Terms from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, carrier requirements, industry standards, platform functionality, or Messaging Programs. The most current version will be published on the TEZ website with an updated revision date.
