TEZ Technology Platform SMS Messaging Terms
Effective: August 1, 2026
Last Updated: July 31, 2026
- Overview. TEZ Technology (“TEZ,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) sells software solutions to businesses and organizations that operate parking, valet, and related services at various locations (each, a “Customer”). The TEZ Platform automatically generates operational SMS and MMS messages on its servers, on behalf of those Customers, for patrons using the services at their locations (“End Users”). These patrons are the Customers’ customers, rather than TEZ’s business customers purchasing software. TEZ also uses business telephone numbers for direct, person-to-person conversations with its business customers, other business contacts, and fellow employees. These SMS Messaging Terms (“SMS Terms”) cover both Product and Service Messaging and Company Communications under the TEZ Technology name.They supplement, but do not replace, any applicable Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
- Definitions.
- Customer means a business or organization that licenses or uses TEZ’s software to operate parking, valet, or related services.
- Patron or End User means an individual using a Customer’s parking, valet, or related services who receives operational text messages generated through the TEZ Platform on that Customer’s behalf. An End User is distinct from TEZ’s business Customer.
- Business Contact means an individual communicating with TEZ on behalf of a Customer or another business or organization.
- Messaging Program means the TEZ Technology SMS and MMS messaging described in these SMS Terms, including Product and Service Messaging and Company Communications.
- Purpose of SMS Messaging. TEZ uses SMS and MMS for the following purposes:
Product and Service Messaging
This is automated Customer-to-Patron messaging. Operational messages are generated by the TEZ Platform’s servers, rather than individually written by a person, on behalf of a business Customer for patrons using that Customer’s services at its locations. Messages support services requested by those patrons and may include:
- Parking session notifications;
- Vehicle retrieval notifications;
- Digital claim ticket notifications;
- Payment notifications;
- Reservation notifications;
- Service status updates;
- Customer-to-valet communications; and
- Other operational messages necessary to facilitate requested services.
Company Communications
TEZ employees use business telephone numbers for ordinary, person-to-person SMS and MMS conversations with Customers and other Business Contacts. These messages are written by people as part of a conversation. External conversations are direct business-to-business communications; Company Communications also include internal SMS and MMS conversations between TEZ employees. Conversations may include directions, greetings, meeting or call coordination, responses to questions, and other exchanges within the business or workplace conversation. Company Communications are not used for marketing, promotional campaigns, or unsolicited sales outreach.
Neither messaging category is used for marketing or promotional communications.
- Consent. An End User may provide a mobile telephone number by entering it directly into a TEZ-powered service or by giving it verbally to Customer personnel, such as a valet, who enter it into the TEZ Platform. Entry initiates automated operational SMS or MMS messages related to the requested parking, valet, or related service. When the number is provided for the purpose of receiving those messages, permission is limited to the applicable service or transaction and does not authorize marketing or unrelated Company Communications. Customers are responsible for providing required messaging disclosures and obtaining any required permission when collecting numbers for their services. Company Communications take place in response to a recipient-initiated text conversation or with the recipient’s permission to communicate by text. Permission applies to the purpose and context of that conversation. Providing a telephone number for a parking or valet transaction does not authorize unrelated Company Communications.
- Message Frequency. Message frequency varies. Product and Service Messaging depends on the services requested by the End User and the operational needs of the applicable Customer, and is limited to messages reasonably necessary to facilitate the requested service. Company Communications depend on the individual conversation and the recipient’s communications with TEZ.
- TEZ Messaging Program and Authorized Senders. TEZ Technology is the messaging name used for both categories below. Depending on the product, geographic region, messaging provider, carrier requirements, or service availability, messages may use registered SMS short codes, authorized 10-digit long code (10DLC) telephone numbers, toll-free telephone numbers, or other authorized sender identifiers operated by or on behalf of TEZ.
Product and Service Messaging
The following short codes support automated messages generated by the TEZ Platform’s servers on behalf of Customers for patrons using their parking, valet, or related services:
Messaging Program Authorized Sender Purpose TEZ Technology Short Codes 73958 and 40484 Vehicle retrieval, digital claim tickets, valet status updates, payment notifications, and customer-to-valet communications. TEZ Technology Short Code 25023 Parking-related operational messaging, including parking session notifications. TEZ Technology Short Code 44989 Parking-related operational messaging, including parking session notifications. TEZ Technology Short Code 77500 Operational messaging supporting Canadian deployments. In addition to the sender identifiers listed above, TEZ may use authorized 10DLC telephone numbers, toll-free telephone numbers, or other approved messaging identifiers to facilitate operational communications. Additional sender identifiers may be added after they are documented and associated with the TEZ Technology Messaging Program.
Company Communications
Company Communications use TEZ business telephone numbers authorized for texting. These numbers support direct business-to-business conversations between TEZ employees and Customers or other Business Contacts, as well as internal SMS and MMS conversations between TEZ employees. The product and service short codes listed above serve the separate Customer-to-Patron messaging category.
Both categories are governed by these SMS Terms. The use of a common messaging name does not expand the scope of a recipient’s consent.
- Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the recipient’s wireless carrier and mobile service plan. TEZ does not charge a separate fee for sending SMS or MMS messages.
- Opting Out. To opt out of text messages, reply STOP to the TEZ sender that contacted you. TEZ will honor opt-out requests for the applicable communications. Messages may resume only after the recipient provides consent again. You may also contact TEZ using the information below for assistance with an opt-out request. Opting out of Product and Service Messaging may prevent delivery of important notifications related to an active parking, valet, or related transaction.
- Assistance. For assistance with TEZ Technology messaging, reply HELP to the TEZ sender that contacted you or contact TEZ using the information below. Depending on the nature of the request, TEZ may direct an End User to the applicable Customer for assistance regarding a specific parking or valet transaction.
